This is an easy-to-follow, beginner’s amigurumi and garland pattern. The entire pattern is written in single crochet. It includes written instructions for this petite and adorable candy corn that can be both filled or flattened for gifting and decorating.

•    Medium (4) weight yarn
•    3.75mm (f) crochet hook
•    Optional: 6mm safety eyes
•    Yarn needle
•    Polyfil or Fiberfil

Gauge: 4 Sts & 4 Rows = 1”

Special Pattern Notes: This pattern is crocheted in the round in one continuous spiral. There will be no joins at the end of each round. For ease of counting, I advise using stitch markers to mark either the beginning or end of each round. Increases are in different places on each round to avoid any seams. Finishing notes to create an amigurumi: F/O Leaving a long tail for sewing closed. Embroider face with a contrasting color embroidery thread or yarn. Optionally, place safety eyes between Rnds 8 and 9, 2 or 3 Sts apart. Stuff to desired firmness. Pinch together the open bottom, making sure to center your face and whip stitch to close. Sew in ends

Finishing notes to create a garland: F/O and sew in tail. Press flat, creating 12 sets of Sts. Begin with a Ch 30. Sc in each St across Candy Corn, Ch 15 between each Candy Corn, repeat across any number of Candy Corn. After final Candy Corn Ch 30 to finish. F/O and sew in ends.
